B-Briddhi Hosts 2nd Impact Measurement & Management Booster Workshop for Certified Service Providers
On November 26, 2024, B-Briddhi, in collaboration with its knowledge partners Roots of Impact and LightCastle Partners, hosted the second Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) Booster Workshop in Dhaka at the Lakeshore Hotel. The workshop was delivered by Social Finance Academy – the impact intelligence and educational arm of Roots of Impact, and also the knowledge partner of B-Briddhi. This workshop was exclusively tailored for certified service providers who graduated from the 4th cohort of the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program. Guided by Melanie Rodriguez Siow, the Impact Measurement & Management Trainer and Technical Assistance Portfolio Manager at Roots of Impact, the workshop focused on equipping participants with practical IMM skills.
This session not only served as a refresher for IMM graduates but also opened doors for stakeholders new to the programme to gain insights into IMM service delivery. By blending structured training with hands-on group exercises, the workshop reflected B-Briddhi’s commitment to empowering service providers to drive meaningful change through the Voucher Scheme (VS) program.

Two Key Goals of the Workshop
- Refreshing Expertise: The booster workshop aimed to help certified service providers revisit and strengthen their IMM knowledge and skills as they prepare for their roles in the ongoing VS program.
- Inspiring Future Participants: For participants with no prior exposure to the TTT or VS programs, the session provided a valuable opportunity to observe IMM service delivery firsthand, encouraging them to consider applying for the next TTT cohort.
An Immersive Learning Experience
The booster session was carefully designed to simulate real-world IMM service delivery and foster collaboration among participants. The agenda emphasised three key elements:
- Exploring IMM Concepts: Participants revisited core IMM principles and practised applying these concepts to real-world challenges.
- Peer Review and Feedback: Participants engaged in reviewing and providing constructive feedback on each other’s IMM-related work, helping refine their skills and expand their understanding.
- Technical Discussions: Attendees actively participated in in-depth discussions with their peers, using the IMM language they had mastered during the TTT sessions.
This practical and collaborative approach ensured that the workshop was not just about theory, it was about building the confidence and skills required to deliver impactful IMM services.

Focus on Data Collection Techniques
A significant portion of the workshop was dedicated to improving participants’ understanding of data collection. Specific focus areas included:
- Turning indicator statements into actionable data points.
- Adopting survey best practices to collect reliable and relevant data.
- Using the customer touchpoint approach to gather data in a resource-efficient manner.
These techniques are critical for ensuring that service providers can effectively support impact enterprises in tracking their progress and delivering measurable outcomes.

The Role of Certified Service Providers in the Voucher Scheme Programme
As key enablers of the VS programme, certified service providers play a pivotal role in supporting impact enterprises. High-quality IMM service delivery ensures the successful transfer of knowledge and skills to these enterprises, strengthening their ability to secure advanced technical assistance and Impact-Linked Finance support in the future. The IMM Booster Workshop further prepared participants for this responsibility, equipping them with practical tools to enhance their service delivery and maximise their impact.
